Olivier Magnin is a hydrogeologist engineer and a WASH specialist with strong field experience in developing countries. He has a long experience in project and programme management and design in the context of development aid and international cooperation. He was programme manager for the Swiss Cooperation (2008-2017) in Central Asia, South Africa and in headquarters.

Over the last 12 years, Olivier Magnin has acquired a solid experience in other fields of the water sector, notably in water governance, irrigation and in IWRM, making him a water expert with a holistic understanding of the sector. He has been also trained in Disaster risk reduction and climate change and has been involved in the energy sector. Olivier Magnin has worked with ICRC, NGO, UN Agencies, with Swiss government and as freelance in Africa, in humanitarian and development aid programmes.
