Florian Thevenon

Dr. Florian Thevenon has 15 years of international experience in linking scientific-based knowledge and water policy with climate change adaptation, water quality monitoring, and Integrated Water Resources Management. He has collaborated with international organizations (e.g. UNDP, UNESCO, UNITAR, UN Environment and UN Water), Universities (e.g. Geneva and Kinshasa), Banks (e.g. Caribbean Development Bank), NGOs (e.g. IUCN), ministries and civil society organisations. Florian’s interest focuses on (waste-) water management and governance, for instance via SDGs implementation. He has delivered e-learning and face-to-face courses and has participated to several international projects in Africa, America, Asia, Caribbean and Europe. He has published more than 50 peer-reviewed research articles and reports. He holds a PhD in Environmental Sciences from the University of Aix-Marseille, France.
